Payal Sahni is Chief People Experience Officer (CPXO), Executive Vice President, at Pfizer. As CPXO, she is responsible for the company’s overall colleague experience, including culture, talent development, engagement, benefits, compensation, and workplace experience, which also includes security. She is also the Executive Sponsor of the Global Asian Alliance colleague resource group.
Under Payal’s leadership, Pfizer’s People Experience (PX) organization is accountable for more than 80,000 colleagues around the world and focused on fostering an environment where Pfizer’s people can thrive, grow, and contribute to the company’s purpose: Breakthroughs that Change Patients’ Lives. Payal joined Pfizer Human Resources in 1997. Prior to her role as CPXO, she was the Senior Vice President, Human Resources (HR), for Pfizer Biopharmaceuticals Group, leading the HR strategy for Pfizer’s entire commercial organization. Previously, she held a number of Regional and Global HR roles of increasing responsibility supporting the business around the world, including leading the Talent Organization for Pfizer Global Supply. She spearheaded numerous transformations as the company evolved its business structure, culture, and real estate, and was instrumental in managing HR strategy for several mergers and acquisitions, including most recently the integration of Seagen, a global biotechnology company. Earlier in her career, her remit included the corporate affairs, legal, compliance, and business innovation functions.
Payal holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rider University and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
