Bringing Science Education to Various Pfizer Sites

This year, we expanded outside the confines of Pfizer’s New York office and took this mission on the road with Pfizer School of Science Mobile Experience, a state-of-the-art, double-expandable trailer representing our commitment to inspiring the next generation of scientists. This program immerses students ages 9-14 in an interactive learning experience designed to inspire curiosity and foster a passion for science. Modeled after an 'escape room' challenge, students work together to decode riddles, solve problems, and crack codes, transforming the learning process into an exciting and immersive adventure.

They can also interact with Pfizer’s robotic dog, which is designed to capture data and enhance safety and efficiency. The program further immerses students in the technological frontier of modern science, offering hands-on experiences with 3D printing and virtual reality headsets. Through hands-on activities and experiments, students can develop critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts.

In 2024, the Mobile Experience visited Pfizer’s sites across the U.S., going to Sanford (NC), Pleasant Prairie (WI), Kalamazoo (MI), and Collegeville (PA). More than 3,500 participants went through the experience and Pfizer will be continuing the tour next year in new locations across the country in 2025.
