Luis Vargas is the Finance Director, Business Development Reporting and Analytics at Pfizer. Luis serves as the business finance leader on equity investment decisions, partnering with Pfizer Ventures and Pfizer Breakthrough Growth Initiative teams, as well as other finance functions. He also aids in the oversight of central deals investment decisions within the Pfizer Research and Development Discovery and Early Development organization.

Luis joined Pfizer in 2020 as a Director in the Accounting Advisory Services team, where he provided accounting advice and due diligence support to various stakeholders on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, divestitures, collaborations, licensing, and development arrangements.

Prior to joining Pfizer, Luis held various accounting roles at companies including Bunge Limited, MasterCard Incorporated, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fordham University and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
