Alexandre de Germay is the Chief International Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President for Pfizer. Alexandre is a member of Pfizer’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT). He leads the International Commercial Division, which consists of the commercial organizations in all ex-U.S. markets.
Alexandre returned to Pfizer in 2023 after being with the company for more than 20 years serving in positions of growing responsibility in brand and disease management as well as country and regional management, including president of Pfizer’s Asia Pacific region. In his last role at Pfizer, he led the strategic transformation of the Asia region – leading a business turnaround and a return to growth.
After Pfizer, Alexandre joined Sanofi in 2016 as the Global Head of the General Medicines Business where he delivered on a five-year roadmap to return the business to sustainable and profitable growth.
From 2021 to 2023, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Laboratoires Majorelle, a specialty pharma company based in France and dedicated to women’s health and urology. Leading this fast-growing company, Alexandre led several growth initiatives and significantly reshaped Majorelle’s late-stage pipeline through several business development projects.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the healthcare field, Alexandre is a trusted and strategic executive possessing a proven track record of enabling innovative and winning strategies to achieve significant and sustainable results across markets.
Alexandre earned two master’s degrees in business administration and finance from Paris XIII University in France.
