Smoking Cessation
Clinical Effort Against Secondhand Smoke Exposure (CEASE)
American Academy of Pediatrics, California Chapter
The goal of this project is to develop the Clinical Effort Against Secondhand Smoke Exposure in California. The program is a nationally recognized evidence-based smoking cessation program for parents of pediatric patients. It offers pediatricians the tools to screen parents for second hand smoke exposure, promote smoking cessation counseling, Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) prescriptions and enroll parents in a free smoking-cessation helpline.
