Anti-Infectives Timeline

Pfizer has long been at the forefront in the battle against infectious diseases. The story begins with the development of an unprecedented technique for mass-producing penicillin in 1941, and continues on to the present day. Medicines such as Unasyn®, Zithromax® and Diflucan® in the '70s and '80s and Vfend®, Zyvox®, and Eraxis® today, have saved countless lives worldwide, and continue to do so.
