This Sr. Director of Creative Catalyst Pathway, Tools, & Standards will Lead the operationalization and optimization of the Creative Catalyst Pathway & Lead Special Projects designed to unlock barriers to creative excellence in service of driving the business. They will forge new centralized problem-solving approaches (vs product by product duplication), collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze and streamline marketing processes, and establish plus oversee a consistent & data driven creative impact approach alongside our Market Research lead.
This colleague will report to the Vice President, Head of Product Advertising in the Chief Marketing Office and will work alongside the other Sr. Director Product Advertising Leads - PALs - (who focus on creative campaign excellence), the Global and US Marketing Leads, and will manage a team of Sr. Manager/Associate colleagues.
How You Will Achieve It
Foster deep relationships with their team of direct reports and their PAL partners to ensure benefit of best practices and superior creative excellence processes and standards.
Lead the Pfizer Creative Council pathway, with formal and informal milestone and workshops
Identify and orchestrate the implementation of new opportunities to remove internal and external barriers that get in the way of optimal creative power (e.g., unified approach to Regulatory guidance, testimonials, etc.)
Inspire a high-performance team culture, inclusive of partnership model with Global and US product marketers that foster creativity, collaboration, and a drive for results
Qualifications
15+ years experience in product marketing/marketing operations in a highly regulated environment. Pharmaceutical experience required, process improvement and analytics experience preferred
Proven track record of crafting / improving upon organizational infrastructure that enable business driving creative excellence via breakthrough campaigns for products
Has successfully led organizational improvement initiatives that directly impact the effectiveness of creative campaigns
Inspirational leader that has driven new innovations with an aptitude for leading and partnering with others to achieve best in class processes, tools, and standards that bolster performance driven creative
Ability to manage diverse multi-disciplinary teams spread over multiple functions and geographies
Ability to engage leadership, inspire teams to deliver compelling new ways to connect with customers.
Expert ability to translate business goals and product marketer pain-points into process improvement initiatives
Excellent communication and people engagement skills across a matrixed organization
Strong business acumen with ability to link creative strategy to commercial metrics and convey insights to peers

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $191,300.00 to $318,800.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
